Zechariah 6: The Paradox of the Ages

This study is based on a captivating prophecy found in Zechariah chapter six verses one to eight. The symbolic identification of the two brass mountains along with each of the chariots with different colored sets of horses leading them will be identified. And, most significantly, the understanding of the forth chariot with two teams of horses going in different directions will be seen to apply to the current situation we are facing today in the Seventh-day Adventist church. Come and see the important lesson God has for His people today.  You can either view the video and/or download a systematic study outline as a PDF document at the link listed below the video viewer.  May God bless your search for Truth as for hidden treasure.

greetings to you. What is the importance of the colours in the bible?

sighandcry March 8, 2014 at 9:10 pm

Dear Friend:

Thank you for your question. Colors are very important in the Bible just as are other symbols that are used to allow the scriptures to interpret themselves. For example a mountain is symbolic of God’s church (Isa. 56:7, Dan. 9:16, 20, etc.). Colors have a symbolic meaning that conveys a meaning just like objects do. In the vision of Zechariah 6 we have specified brass mountains four sets of chariots and horses of four different colors. Each of those colors tells us something about the nature chariot (church) at a particular point in history. Red = blood of the martyrs, white = purity, black = spiritual darkness, grisled (mixed white and black) = hypocrisy. This is just one illustration of many found throughout the scriptures. Please continue to read and study the original Shepherd’s Rod message and you will be blessed beyond measure to discover the meaning of many more symbols in the Bible including both objects and colors.

Dear Brother Amos:

Your question about the chariots found in the vision of Zechariah 6 are best covered in detail in the Tract No. 2 entitled “The Great Paradox of the Ages”. Below is a link that will download a digital scan of the original tract as a PDF for your further study. Briefly the chariots and horses are a symbol the church, the horses out in front being the leaders (Isa. 63:11-14) and the chariot representing the laity in the church.

Greetings,

Kindly advice me here or explain of the stone in Daniel 2, I see you have a different view with the Adventist Movement, how so?

sighandcry May 29, 2019 at 5:02 pm

The current (since 1944) Seventh-day Adventist teaching that the stone in Daniel 2 is Christ at His second coming is a cunningly devised fable that has been woven in the church teachings as a direct effort to mislead the brethren from the truth about the sealing of the 144,000 and related teachings. Here is a YouTube presentation that carefully documents this deceptive work amongst church leaders who are desperately trying to keep the lay people from investigating the original SRod message for themselves.
