Dear Kingsley:
Thank you for your comment. We are glad that you are the first to speak up, but hopefully not the last, as this is a very important discussion that we as Seventh-day Adventists need in order to rightly divide the Word of Truth. Also we are thankful to you for mentioning the effort of the Amazing facts ministry (http://www.aftermay21.com/) to attempt to address this false prophecy centered on May 21, 2011. However, in their defense against Mr. Camping's time setting error, this ministry does misapply Matthew chapter 24 verses 36 and 44 to the second advent of Christ. As clearly demonstrated in the Rod study, this is a "secret" or unexpected coming mentioned in these verses which is the commencement of the judgment of the living (Ezekiel 9, Mal. 3:1-3) that first begins at the house of God (1 Pet. 4:17) that takes place well before the second coming. Hopefully our beloved brethren in Laodicea will arouse their need of the extra oil (more light) from the Bible in order to be counted as wise virgins before it is too late.

I guess that it seems as if I am the first person to comment and I would like to just comment on one of the points that you made. By the way, I must admit that this is a very nice Bible study. I presumed that it was about Harold Camping's prediction when I saw the name of it in a web feed I got from this website. It is true to my knowledge that the SDA church didn't really do much to disprove Camping's description but I do know a Seventh-Day Adventist organisation by the name of Amazing Facts which is run by Doug Batchelor. He has created a whole website for it and has also posted videos on the website, too. I just felt like sharing that with everybody. You can visit by typing something like after 21 May in Google. Anyway, God bless!
