As the world is concerned December 25th is the birth date of Jesus which we know is false. However it would be around the time of His mother Mary being conceived by the Holy Spirit. The Bible is silent as to a particular day of this event and it would be unwise to make a celebration out of it when it is not called for.

The videos showing the history of the Advent movement naturally require someone to act the part of Ellen White. From what we have seen the representation appears realistic and carefully done without doing any disservice to the life and character of Mrs. White. On the other hand there are far more grievous sins being committed by the church that will bring down the judgment of God as specified in the ninth chapter of Ezekiel. If you search through this website and read any of the original SRod tract literature you will come to find what the abominations are that are being done inside the church. i hope some one could shed lite on this seeing its the conseption not the birth acording to the corse of obia my spelling is not good for give and the angels in heaven even rechoced now with that i have seen videos of a women protending to be ellen white her selve in the church thats more troubling to me then picking a day to woship the lord he is the only real lite if it was in the moves maybe not in the house of the LORD

Dear Friend of Truth:

Yes, we agree the SDA Church should take a stand against the celebration of any pagan holiday or festival such as X-Mass, New Years, or easter. However, as prophecy foretells the church is steadily retreating towards Egypt (5T 217) and that it must go through a terrible shaking ordeal (EW 270, 2 SM 380) in order for God to save us from our Laodicean slumber. May God us each stand for the Truth until the end, come what may.

The SDA Church must take a stand on the celebration of Christmas.
However, l personally disapprove it since it is not biblical

We have to follow what the Bible says as plainly stated in Jeremiah 10:1-25. Scripture further warns us not to worship trees as do the heathen, Deuteronomy 16:21-22.

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Dear Brother Cyril:

Since Valentines is definitively pagan in origin and practice it should be shunned as other pagan festivals such as Easter, Christmas, Holloween, etc. God desires for His people to be separate and not learn the ways of the heathen which is for our own good, see Jer. 10:2, 14, 15. Valentines if full of graven images, hearts, cupids, love potions, etc.
