We are not affiliated with Sis. B. as we do not believe the same things. However, we are thankful to God that she has been willing to share with us some valuable testimonies about her experiences at old Mt. Carmel Center and has freely allowed us to copy some important historical documents. Most especially the original SRod study charts that belonged to her husband from which we were able to digitally restore to their pristine condition.

Dear David: Your observation is astute. The Seventh-day Adventist Biblical Research Institute teaching on the 144,000 and the Great Multitude does directly contradict the teaching from the Shepherd’s Rod. This comes as little surprise since this committee of theologian scholars was originally established in 1943 as the Defense Literature Committee for the express purpose of contradicting the message of revival and reformation brought through the writings of the Rod.
For us today we can not afford the peril of trusting on the arm of flesh for these leading scholars are mere mortals such as ourselves. Thus, we should go to the Bible alone, backed up by the Spirit of Prophecy, and study for our own praying for the Holy Spirit to guide, lead, and direct us unto all truth. Then we may know who is leading us to a better understanding of the Bible on the subject of the 144,000 and who is trying to stand in the gate and prevent God’s people from receiving the extra oil for their lamps that will prepare them to be recipients of the latter rain.
