Although it may appear that no one is watching, we are diligently at the post willing to report regarding the GC’s activities to suppress religious freedom. We appreciate your update and will pass the information along. We are also going to be preparing some reports in the future regarding how the Seventh-day Adventist church is casting out members who choose to exercise there conscience to study the Rod message and end up disfellowshipped without due cause.

I see that this thread is not very active. I hope some of you do monitor it.

On December 23rd, Magistrate Judge Bryant recommended further sanctions against me and my assistant, Lucan Chartier. These sanctions include some jail time and further fines. All the legal documents are stored at the website with key words “whypastorwaltermcgill….” We are awaiting District Judge Breen’s order.

A high tier law firm in Wash. DC has taken up our case and petitioned the US Supreme Court for a writ of certiorari. You can find the full text online by a Google search. The GC has notified counsel that they will try to stop this case from being heard. The reason is because they stand to lose something no matter which way the Court opines. The principle issue here is the RFRA and how it is to be applied.

It is not definite whether we shall file an appeal with the Supreme Court yet. We are still seeking support for the expenses, though there are some attorneys interested in briefing the case. Our lead attorney continues to work pro bono.

You have every right to fear what may be coming to other Adventist groups as the result of this latest opinion. And we are certain that the GC will find a way to take this matter to international levels, since 1) they have not yet succeeded in silencing the voice of protest online, 2) they have not been successful in collecting the sanction of $35,000 in attorney fees from me, 3) they have not been able to gather limited discovery to assist in the enforcement of their permanent injunction, and 4) they have not been able to permanently dispose of our church signs at the Guys, TN property. In fact, they have generally failed in most of their attempts to put us “out-of-business.” The only websites they have confiscated are the ones within US jurisdiction or WIPO in Geneva.

An international raid or inquisition is what they must undertake to “utterly silence the voice of dissent and reproof.” (GC 635)
