Praise the Lord for your comment and suggestions. We thank God for the message of revival and reformation that He sent to the S. D. A. church through the ministry of Bro. Victor Houteff and the writings found in the Shepherd’s Rod. We can testify that this most precious message has saved us from the ditch of legalism and has instilled into our hearts a greater love for our beloved brethren in Laodicea without animosity or rancor towards the church leaders who rejected and resisted the Rod message since its inception and continue to this day to keep the light of truth from shining into the hearts of the lay people in the church. Yet despite the fact that this message is known by the leading men and remains locked away in the vaults of the G.C. Archives, the EGW Estate, and the Center for Adventist Research at Andrews University (for a photo gallery of some original Rod literature at these locations, see: http://www.upa7.org/facts-history.html), the truth will not remain buried forever. Soon and very soon the faithful few who accept and practice this message fully will pour forth the straight testimony so that all in the Church can see and hear for themselves and this will cause the shaking as predicted in Early Writings, p. 270.

As a SDA, I hear the message of the rod. I reccomend though, that the Rod message be not accompanied by the seeminly constant reminders of the Church’s rejection in 1930. It is important to understand that the Church never rejected Bro Houteff’s message. The Church never heard it. Upon the leaders of the church must hang the consequences of that action.
