To address your questions regarding the teachings coming from the Bashan group, we consider them to be heresy and a counterfeit of the original SRod message published from 1930 to 1954 by the late V. T. Houteff. Below is a website that we have established to address some of the many winds of doctrine that arise in Davidian circles. Regarding Bashan, they believe that the living Spirit of Prophecy is to be manifest in a living “porter” who “binds up the testimones” and tells people how to understand the message today. The trouble here is that people are drawn to the arm of flesh rather than trusting in a living God who directs through His two last day prophets. Below is a link to a study on the living SOP and the verse (Mic. 7:14) used by Bashan to claim we are in the bashan pasture today. Both will expose their teachings to be a contradiction to what is published in the original SRod message.
